The
GROW Fine Arctic (GFA) Hindcast is Oceanweather's
comprehensive metocean study of the Arctic Sea.
The wind and wave hindcasts were all made with basin-wide
grids of spacing 0.25 degrees latitude (28 km) by
0.75 degrees longitude. All hindcast time series are
available in either OWI's OSMOSIS format (for current
licensees of OSMOSIS) or ASCII. The standard
continuous hindcast covers 29 years (1983-2011) of
data. Spectra is also archived and available
at select locations.
