GROW-Fine SAM is a follow-on to the GROW hindcast which addresses the South Atlantic Basin at a coarse resolution and the South American East Coast at a much finer resolution. The South Atlantic Basin is a 0.5 degree grid run in deep-water mode. GROW-Fine SAM is a 14 km grid (0.125 deg) and includes shallow water effects. The hindcast is archived 3-hourly for the continuous period 1990-2009. Spectra are available at select locations.

Purchasers interested in fine mesh modeling within the Campos and Santos Basins offshore Brazil should consider joining the BOMOSHU JIP. There is also a special GROW-Fine South America Brazil (SAB) on a 7 km grid for BOMOSHU participants.
